Saw Tenon Jig
A tenon jig is a tool that holds your wood in a vertical
position so that
you can make cuts across the end of your wood stock. This allows you to cut a
tenon, so that you can make mortise and tenon joints.
You can make your own, but a heavy-duty tenon jig that you purchase is
better for doing accurate cutting with your table saw.
 The one pictured here is made of steel and cast iron, and has an adjustable
back stop that will hold stock from 0 degrees to 45 degrees. You can also
adjust the width of the cut with the finely threaded adjustment handle.
