Table Saws
Contractor table saws are larger and much heavier, and
come
with an attached base, or stand. Contractor table saws usually have wheels on
them. The motor is located at the back of the saw and turns the blade with a
single belt using a one to two horse power, seven hundred and fifty to one
thousand five hundred watt induction motor. This is the kind of table saw
frequently used by homeowners and hobbyists since typical electrical circuits
are sufficient and they are not that costly. Dust collection can be a problem,
when compared to a cabinet saw.
