Table Saws

table saws are heavier. They are made out of steel and cast iron. A cabinet
saw has a closed cabinet, or base. Cabinet table saws typically come with an
induction motor in the three to five horsepower range that are two to four kW.
This kind of motor normally calls for a heavy-duty circuit to be installed in
your home. This kind of motor requires a two hundred and twenty volt outlet.
The motor is housed inside the cabinet and turns the blade by using three
belts. Cabinet saws have the following benefits over contractor table saws,
heavier construction for increased durability, less vibration, and a
cabinet-mounted trunnion. This mechanism incorporates the saw blade mount and
allows for tilt and height adjustment. Other advantages include superior dust
collection, because of the fully enclosed cabinet. Generally, cabinet-mounted
trunnions are by far easier to adjust than table-mounted trunnions.
