Types Of Light Bulbs
Halogen bulbs are more powerful and brighter than normal bulbs.
Florescent bulbs burn cooler and are more efficient than the others.
Regular bulbs are just full spectrum light bulbs and what you call regular
light bulbs that produce a white light. These regular bulbs are not very
efficient.
LED bulbs are becoming more and more used. some places like Canada are
banning the use of regular bulbs.
Some bulbs get very hot and can not be used in some lights or used with
certain shades. You will notice that bulbs come in different watts. The lower
the watt the less light it gives off. Make sure you check what watt bulb you
can use in your light fixture and purchase the correct watt. If you use the
wrong watt or size of bulb you could end up with a fire or melting the shade
of your favorite lamp.
