- If you are fortunate enough to have the room for a water garden, you are already one step ahead of most gardeners. Water gardens are the area of your landscape that will provide you with soothing sounds of the water, while adding to the overall appearance of your landscape.

Begin with a list of your own reasons for creating a water garden, do you wish to improve your property, add value to your property, or changing the general look of your landscape. Alternately, you may simply want a place for privacy. Make a list of your desires. Use this list to better plan where your water garden will suit you and your vision.
