Removing Ink Stains From Carpets

One of the cheapest and most effective cleaners for carpet ink stains is rubbing alcohol. The 90% isopropyl alcohol is better but you can try the 705 if that is what you have in the house. One important factor is to treat the stain quickly.

Here are few tip for you.

Never rub the stain and that will just spread it. Dab some on a white cotton cloth and dab the stain.

Never take the rubbing alcohol and pour it directly onto the carpet straight from the bottle .

Repeat the above dabbing at the stain until you no longer get any ink transferring to the white cloth.

Always be sure to rinse the carpet stain with water several times in order to remove the cleaner. If you can not vacuum the water out of the carpet then use a clean cloth or even absorbent paper towels to dab and extract the moisture out until most of the water is out.
