You will find baking soda in laundry detergent because of the great job it does and many people will put it in their fridge to get rid of odors and keep the fridge smelling fresh. 

There are many uses for baking soda. It is a great household cleaner.

Baking soda will clean coffee and tea stains by scrubbing pots or cups with baking soda and a gentle scouring pad.

Baking soda is great in the laundry. Use 1/3 cup to a wash cycle and you have a bleach booster. You can add baking soda to the rinse cycle for cleaner smelling cloths.

Baking soda made into a paste will remove black scuff marks from your floor.

Insect bites driving you nuts then make a paste of baking soda and water and put on bite to relieve itching.

Do your dishcloths ever get sour smelling? soak dish cloths and sponges in water and baking soda solution to remove that sour smell.

A mixture of baking soda and water will help clean and deodorize your microwave. put a few tablespoons of baking soda in a cup of water and set in your microwave to boil for 2 minutes then wipe down with a sponge.

Sprinkle baking soda in your laundry hamper of dirty smelling cloths to relieve the odors.

If you use a baking soda paste and a toothbrush you should be able to remove most crayon marks from your walls.
